So, do the resets that they list, and bizarrely enough, my sync only worked when I put the fitbit in backwards. I emailed them about it and they sent me a new base station.

I’ve tried every reset I could find in the support group and none of them have worked. This always happens to me.

:) missleigh

Wildflower is a camping-triathlon weekend event. They do long course (half-ironman) on Saturday and Olympic on Sunday. I’m doing the half-ironman as a relay with my Mom on Saturday. I’m doing the swim & bike and she’s doing the run. We’re doing it as our first event together, my first long course and her first half-marathon. And we’re doing it to raise money for the SF AIDS Foundation. We’ve raised over $7k and are super excited. Have a great weekend and thanks for your note :)

I almost feel like I’ve given up on a couple of my rules… being sick for most of the month pretty much killed my workout routine, and I haven’t been writing in my journal. The only thing that I consistently do well at is my diet. So that’s something!

Ok, so the past few days have been kicking my ass, between piles and piles of work and the kids/family needing a lot of my time (and, uh, using up all my sugar/snack days on the weekend and having a basket of easter candy sitting 3 feet from my desk). It had been my goal to make it through to the month “natural,” without having to plea for fruit. It’s gonna be close, because the likelihood of me making my bike riding quota for the week is looking grim at this point.

Got someone special colorful shoes to brighten his day, and made fantastic smashed chickpea sandwiches last night. Now! To make it through the rest of the week!

:) drlith

What did you put in your smashed chickpea sandwiches? On a whim, I bought an industrial-sized can of chickpeas at Costco a few weeks ago (not a totally crazy proposition: my kids eat a LOT of hummus) and finally broke it open last night. I’m gonna make a big batch of hummus, but other ideas would also be good.

http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/01/smashed-chickpea-salad/ this is the recipe I used. It’s amazing. I also sprinkle chickpeas on salads a lot.

:) tlingit

I put chickpeas in soup. I’ll take a basic like tomato and add chickpeas and some sort of chopped green, like kale or spinach. throw in some basil and it’s tasty and (mostly) healthy.

The sleep deprivation finally hit me today and I crashed, hard. I did manage to do my exercise rule, though. I knew my husband was heading to the grocery store, so I wrote “GET ME CHOCOLATE” on the grocery list, and he did!

Felt much better after a nap and a nibble of extra-dark chocolate.

joycetroyer is fruit-hungry.

The indulgence is (ta-da!) a vacation. (It really IS an indulgence, don’t you think?) About half way through my catching up on HM, I realized that I could/should still report on the days (particularly because I journaled about the trip so I knew what I did every day). So I am caught up, but I need a little help from my friends.

How interesting, the program willl not allow me to use the sp…….ip! It won’t send the comment!
