Well I hit a lot of my goals this month. The main one was I was able to fast regularly and up my workouts without much detriment to my stress levels like I had seen before. But I missed a big goal of significant weight loss. Even with knowing that my body changed a bit – I think I gained a little muscle – I still thought I could I drop more weight. I do think I netted down a few pounds – maybe even as much as 4lbs – it wasn’t where I wanted to be. So I gotta figure that out. Probably need to adjust my expectations more than anything. So I will adjust some this month and see what I can do.

I didn’t plan well for the 3-day end of the month and wound up losing some life points. No matter, I know I’ll adjust that into the rest of my week and it’ll even out in my head if not on my May scorecard. ;)

Finally it’s the end of the month and I ended the month with reasonable score and life points left. I’m quite satisfied with the result, but I prefer to do better especially in June.

Did day two of C25K this morning. I was a little sore so I stretched well before and after. By the afternoon I was still pretty sore and I had a twinge in my left knee. Going to take it easy for a day or two and see if it goes away. I’m hoping it’s just that I shouldn’t have run two days in a row.

Enough with May! Had some problems, needed a lot of fruit, but some great stuff too: vastly improved my sleep (by getting the baby sleeping through the night) and had some critically important personal insights (with help from family) that are informing some of my rules for June. It will be hard, and should be extremely rewarding and educational.

Taught a student, played with kids, did more cleaning, talked with family about various issues & complexities. Not getting to bed on time because I haven’t done next month’s rules yet. No greens in the house for the past couple weeks, so I’ve lost that point a few times.
