I can never find the sp0ns0rship part of the web site! I have a problem EVERY month with this!!!!!!!!! And I am SUPER frustrated as I have been hunting for over 30 minutes and it is almost over!!! Is anyone able to help me?

:) basktcase

I found the sp0ns0rship,and wrote a blurb. But I also just recently got an email from Buster that said that anyone who has been playing for the last few months will be eligible to a free month?? Anyone know anything about this?

:) basktcase

I got sp0ns0red thank you, by someone I don’t know outside of our group! Thank you to them! :) I was having trouble finding the place where you write your blurb so that someone can actually sp0ns0r you! I know that the "More">FAQ>gets you to the explanation for the sp0ns0rship, I just couldn’t find how to get to the page!! Oh well, I am done with that for this month at least! :) Thank you again! Have a great month playing!!!

OKAY FOLKS, TIME TO MOVE TO THE OCTOBER GAME WALL!

It’s hard to get back to the September game wall, unless you click on the email notifications – and not everbody gets those or looks at them, or clicks on them.

So hardly anybody is gonna see your lovely posts, now that it’s October !

NARA was as it always is—dull. And I wasn’t really feeling like going to the divination share, but after I got home and made cookies and changed clothes, I felt a lot better and I’m glad I went. I had been thinking that I might have been socialized out, but I figured out that maybe it’s like a muscle and so I have to work on pushing past that feeling to make it a little easier next time. Plus, we had a fun idea of what to do for the next share, which is right before Samhain. Which is going to be totally awesome.

Blasted my water rule for the partial week and blew the soda rule out of the water, too (it helped that I drank water at dinner one night). Seven hours of shopping and girly time with family from out of town. I am not the girly type. On the plus side, the look on the makeup counter girl’s faces when you respond to questions about your skincare regimen with, “Well, I get some motor oil on there sometimes, but that’s about it.” is priceless.

I did get a new bra, so that’s something.

New rules for next month include chores and drinking less. We’ll see. I love drinking and I suck at doing chores.

Ooh sounds interesting. Mary Ann, are you going to start October with a book thread like we did with September? :-D

:) MaryAnn

Yes, indeedy!
At the stroke of midnight, I’ll start a new one.
During September, I meant to post a coupla more reminders that the thread was back there.
This month, I’ll try to remember.

Do you think it worked alright, the way I did it?
– I mean, getting it there, at the very beginning, and then occasionally harkening back to it?
– Can you think of any ways to tweak it better?

:) healthyrach

I know there was one time when I was torn between posting an update back there and just tacking it onto one of my regular check-ins. Oooh… maybe as the month progresses the link to that last (earliest page) can be (re)posted every now & then? Like…………

This? http://healthmonth.com/game_wall/15?page=20&team_game_id=1326

:) MaryAnn

Rachael, it doesn’t quite work that way – remember, that’s why I tried to make sure I got it in there, the very first post of the month for our team, so that it could always be found.

Because . . . the link keeps changing as the month progresses . . .
because . . . the pages shift – so what is page 1 at the beginning of the month, then becomes page 2, 3, and so on. So that part of the link changes.

See? It says page 20 in your link. That page number has been changing all month long.

The only thing I could think of, to make that thread findable, was to put it at the very beginning.
I did write out an explanation, and directions for people to find it, so I’ll repeat that again.

Does this make sense?

So my intention wasn’t exactly to re-post the link, but to remind people, two or three times, that the thread was there, and how to find it.

:) Brooke

Another ideer:
Start the post after the final post on a page for the Team’s posts.
confusing?
maybe, maybe not.
Wait until a page is full and then post it.
Then every time a page is new, make a new one…

…no, they wouldn’t be connected, but that might be okay.
you could bold the font and have the same name each time…
BOOK YOUR ARE READING or something like that…

it would be on the “Your Team” wall, since we ARE the Healthy BOOKlovers, ya know…

Anyway, my idea
sounds pretty
shabby, but it
was just a thought…

:) MaryAnn

Well, it’s not a bad ideer in theory,
but . . . :-)

It would take a lot of attention & maintenance, to do that. Each month, the team fills up about 20-22 pages, so you’d have to do it a LOT.

But the real problem is, nothing STAYS at the top of a page.
The new posts get added to the top.
So the whole thing just keeps sliding down, down, down, and eventually slips onto the next page.

The only “position” or “location” that I could think of, that stays sort of the same (i.e. is findable in the same place) is whatever is posted at (or close to) the very beginning.

:) Brooke

ooke
I put parentheses with an “S” after “BOOK” and it put the dotted line under “BOOK” and vanished the “S”
