Good day. Ate lots of veggies, did some cooking, spent nice time with Eva and Jade, and made Alex a sign for her room that said “There are NO monsters in this room, because MY DADDY LOVES ME!!!”. Tired, now, but still have exercise and some general health rules to do.

Didn’t get as much accomplished at work today as I wanted to. Got some, though. Will get more done tomorrow — got the annoying work done today.

Got the old bread maker out, and am testing whether it makes bread effectively. If it does, I’ll probably turn some of our loose flour and yeast and stuff into pre-measured baggies in the freezer that can be dumped into the bread machine for single-step bread making.

Kind of an emotionally complex day. Will definitely need my dreaming time tonight to process it all.

Aw, I LOVE that sign for Alex! Brilliant and sweet! :’-]

Wonderful sign — and yay for doing the annoying work.

Mary Ann: I bet you have someone in your life who would make a sign like that with you. It’s very important: you need to draw the monsters on the sign, and then you can both draw the big red circles and slashes over them. :-)

Lynn: And then, later in the evening, I sorted and opened my mail! By myself! :-)

I’m excited about my rules; I think I’ll do well this month. I also feel a fierce sense of determination to accomplish big things this month. On another note entirely, the temperature here went from 79 F to 46 F – overnight!! It’s not usually that drastic. Too cold for sailing.Back to school in six days. I’m not quite ready, but tomorrow will be a “prep for first day” day. Overall, I feel great about everything!

Making progress. I was up too late last night, but I was going to miss that deadline anyway and this way I got my other HM stuff (and choring) done, and I have the rest of the week to get to bed on time. It does mean an early bed on the weekend, but that will probably be good for me.

Nice.
“Got that boring choring done.”

When I bought my first little house, a cute little bungalow that I was head over heals in love with, I called cleaning, “loving my house,” because that’s what it felt like. New house and several years later it doesn’t feel quite the same. I think I may start using choring – that’s awesome.

Weight: -1  lbs since start of month
3 Energy: -- I could use a nap
4 Calm: -1  Something was worrying me recently
4 Mood: -1  I'm not smiling, but I could if I wanted to

Cold, exhausted, and stressed by the dreams I just woke up from. Morning is not being kind to me today. I simply need to be getting more sleep.

It’s hard, because I’ve also been rolling my sleep schedule back to align with my desired work schedule. So I’m miserably awake at a time that is earlier than my body believes is “morning”. Also, earlier than the sky believes is “morning”. Mrph.

It was a good day! Still – plenty of room for improvement, especially in the exercise department. But I already see myself making healthier food choices. Areas I need to work on are exercise (especially going to the gym), chores and walking.

Long day. Love having my brother in town, but adding this much social time to my schedule, even on a vacation day, is just exhausting! Still have half an hour of exercise to do before bed — gonna have to figure out where to fit that in, but the conversation’s too good to want to miss out on it. Mrph.

21 rules is a lot and I could easily start dropping life points like flies, but they’re part of an overall effort to lose some weight and get my blood sugar levels and hormones under control, so they compliment each other. And some really aren’t that difficult. (But some are! coughexercisecough)
