Loooooooooooong day. I did manage to only sleep 5 hours, but I was dragging. The technician didn’t say anything about the tests, only that he was pleased that I followed the instructions on the sheet given to me about not having anything in my hair. Came home and napped for longer than I should have and then went out to dinner and drinks with my friend and we waited to see if the dream message I got about something happening at 721pm would do anything. Nothing overt happened, but ’tevs. Still got out of the house. ananyof needs fruit, barely.

It’s strange how the week after the semester is harder than the last week of semester itself. Experiencing some burnout.

Whoops, forgot to write words. Eh. Probably should’ve limited that goal to work days. Otherwise, a great day! It’s been chilly here, the high yesterday was about 68 and rainy, low 60s at night. Ryl gave me a blanket for my bed, so I slept extra cozy!
Yesterday was good… Not too eventful… Read some articles and cooked yummy tacos. Missed my nap, but was asleep by 10, so that’s okay. 11,000+ steps!
A good day and a quiet night.
Substitution at lunch but I’m pretty sure I got the portions right.

Happy to report that this is week #2 without the nightly glass (bottle) of wine after work! LOL – so this is what a clear head feels like. Not bad. Have also made it to the gym every day this week. What’s happening to me??! I think the good habits are starting to overpower the old regime ;-)
At least I know what day it is. Sunday, right? :-)))

I had the Ploughman’s Platter at Pacific Brewing, delicious but I was burpy the whole next day. Maybe it was the cheese not the bratwurst! |
Finally, did most of the things: Got a decent amount of work done, got up early, worked out, even got half an hour of gaming in.

So much to do, so little time and especially energy. That sugar yesterday has drained me. It’s a miracle it didn’t show on the scales this morning.

Yeah, sugar makes me feel absolutely terrible the next few days. I do best if I stay as far below 50g total per day as I can..eatting sugar makes you crave more sugar badly, so I just never eat very much of it at all… |
Spent about an hour making something from scratch that would have taken 20 minutes max to put together from processed foods. It wasn’t OMG, but it tasted much fresher, and lacked a ton of ingredients we don’t want to be eating. Also, it’ll last at least 2-3 days.
Body feeling stronger and very comfortable the last few days. I’m parking further and able to walk with a good, energetic gait. The amount of PT I’ve put in so far can’t possibly answer for this, so I’m calling it a semi-fluke, but it’s really nice.
