Walked for half an hour to run an errand. Didn’t make more housecleaning progress today, but did maintain the clean. Spent most of the day on work. I need to get lots of prep & writing done for four tutoring students this week plus three classes starting back up on Saturday. Haven’t done as much of it as I would like, and I pretty much have to finish tomorrow in order to go to the science center with the 4-yr.-old & grandparents and still get everything to the printer on time. We’ll see….

Got great news about my job today… turns out my hard work has been recognized and I’m going to be joining the tech team in a role with more responsibility. It’s such an honor to be invited to join such an amazing group of brilliant people. I feel very lucky.

I had a lot of fun this month, though I think I should have thought through my rules – some were pretty similar. But I’m happy with what I’ve done.
I thought I would have the hardest with being off the internet, since the SO & generally have them on. I just realized I’m just reading dumb stuff just to read something.
Also I though exercise would be tough – I like to workout but having to be accountable to 5 days a week was a challenge. I think I did pretty good.
My volunteer hours were the best part of the month – I really love it & it’s my favorite time of the week (playing with kitties & doggies – no surprise.)
All & all a great month – and I’m glad to be part of this team! See you all next month!
