When you take into consideration your weight, energy, happiness, and anything else your rules covered, do you feel like you made progress towards being healthier this month?

Polar_bear.30
:)

Yes, I made progress!

What worked for you?

Polar_bear.30
:)

HealthMonth itself worked wonderfully for me. By keeping all of my rules in one place, I could optimize for one thing (HealthMonth), and end up healthier, spending more time with my kids, and even practicing my guitar more!

Do you plan on playing again?

Polar_bear.30
:)

Yes, I want to play again next month!

What's one way you think you can play smarter next month?

Polar_bear.30
:)

I’m going to remove a couple of rules that turn out to be “always true” (like “do some important work”) — literally not a day goes by where I don’t do some important work, so there’s no point in having a rule for it. I’m also going to up the difficulty slightly (kaizen!) for some of the really hard rules, like meditation.

Did you cheat at all this month?

Polar_bear.30
:)

Not at all!

I didn’t cheat or fudge my answers. However, I’m not a legalist—if my bedtime is 2:00 am, and I’m in bed with the lights out at 2:03, I count that as a success. That works for me, since I don’t seem to then end up going, “Well, if 2:03 counts as 2:00, then 2:05 counts as 2:00, and even though it’s 2:15, I can stay up and read a bit more”. If I found myself doing that, I’d be stricter, but since I don’t, I follow the spirit rather than the letter.

There’s no point on cheating in HealthMonth. I’m not here to “win”, I’m here to improve my health.

Who do you want to thank?

Polar_bear.30
:)

I got lots of fruit from people when I injured my back near the end of the month. Thanks, everyone! PellyMelly was a big encouragement, and of course my beloved family helps me every day to be healthier.

Would you recommend Health Month to your friends?

Polar_bear.30
:)

Yes, I would recommend Health Month to friends!

I would like to offer you $327,314 SD for playing the month all the way to the end. Do you want to keep it or keep the game purely intrinsic?

Polar_bear.30
:)

I'll take it, thank you very much!
