September's Game Wall

:)
karalianne, in the Green Bracket, played Saturday September, 3rd for 218 points, following 100% of her 15 rules. She didn't lose any life points and therefore got 1 piece of fruit for the hard work. Her public review of the day was…

A lovely day. Got some work done, played with the guinea pigs, and hung out with Juniper a bit watching The Big Bang Theory and Bones. Bed time now!

Just looked up Bones and watched a trailer.
Looks creepy! Did you enjoy it?

I’m always on the look-out for good movie recommendations.

The Big Bang Theory gets me chuckling. Mary Ann had asked about mood elevators. That show is one for me.

I was surprised to learn that Mayim Hoya Bialik, the actress who plays Amy Farrah Fowler, holds a PhD in neuroscience.

Bones the series. It’s very good.

Mayim Bialik blogs at “Raising Kvell,” a parenting site for Jewish parents. Her posts are always really interesting. She has a book on attachment parenting coming out soon, and I am very interested in reading it to see what methods I might want to use when Juniper and I start spawning.

Oh. We miss out on all the TV shows. Cancelled the cable service coupla years ago, because we never watched.
But if it’s a really good series, we’ll rent the DVDs (if it’s on DVD).
Watched all of The Wire, Lost, and Firefly, that way.
We’ll have to check out Bones.

Oh.
So it sounds like The Big Bang Theory isn’t a documentary film, then, as I had supposed.
Will have to check out that show, too.

We just sit around and stare at the furniture. :-)

We don’t have TV now either. We watch online – well, we download and watch on the computer. Both shows are on DVD now, too.

@Janna –
“When Juniper and I start spawning” :-D

I’ve always loved that word, spawn.

Trouble is, you can’t use it to refer to other people’s children.
As in, “When will you start spawning?”, or “How are your spawn doing?”
And that’s so unfortunate, don’tchya think? LOL

Obviously you don’t hang out with the right people, Mary Ann. ;)
