Public review of the day

Got up later than usual today.

Wrote a bit more of _CAVIES: The Musical_; need to finish current song and then add another one to get the new rescue pig into the rescue so he can sing the "Pet Store Blues" (wrote that song last week).

We watched the latest episode of _Game of Thrones_ and then _The Man From Earth_ this morning, then I left for Saskatoon.

Hung out with my friend, knitting and chatting for a few hours. Made great progress on a couple of projects.

She suggested I do a steampunk costume for the Calgary Comic Expo at the end of the month. I would love that, but not sure there's enough time to make a proper Victorian style dress. Any other suggestions for con-appropriate costuming that I could put together easily within the next three weeks? I would like something that will play up (or at least make good use of) the length of my hair; it is tailbone length and I have sat on it at least once in the last week.

Went to Montana's for dinner with my parents. Had potato skins as an appetizer while waiting for Mom & Dad to arrive. Then had Chicken Philly Cheese (sandwich, like Philly Cheese Steak only with chicken instead of steak) and side Caesar salad. Both very good. Only ate half the sandwich and brought the rest home to eat later. (Proud of that!)

Stopped at Sobeys for groceries and stocked up on veggies for me & the boys. Got escarole for the first time; we'll see how everyone likes it.

Home and thinking the brothers might write about their former home tonight. Not totally sure. May not write at all. Will share link if they do post.
