Public review of the daySo, stayed up half the night last night to finish Part 3 of The Project. Husband delivered it on his way out this morning. Today was recovery day, but I don't feel very recovered. There's a slight muddle with Parts 2 and 3, that I have to go and sort out tomorrow (Friday). Will take only 10 minutes (and it wasn't anything I did wrong, it was rather the other person's mistake), but I feel disproportionately disheartened about it. Maybe it's just the anticlimax — I was celebrating being DONE! and now I have to go mess with it some more. And the kind of conversation I'll have to initiate is never a fun kind. Well, this will pass, too, and probably tomorrow after some sleep it will all seem easier. It's not such a big deal, it just feels like a big deal. (Am I listening? Yes, okay, I'm listening.) Went for a nice long walk along the lake, to try to get un-disheartened. An overcast, windy day. Beautiful rollers crashing on the beach, with a bit more force than is usual. (These are small, Lake Ontario waves, mind you.) Lots of lovely white surf. The sound was gorgeous. As usual, saw so many endearing dogs, big and small. They're always game for anything, the dogs on the beach. They arrive with tails wagging and smiles. They all seemed to be enjoying the surf. |

DO's versus DON'TsUse this chart to figure out if you happen to be better at doing DOs or DON'Ts. The inner circle shows you how many DO rules you have versus how many DON'T rules, and the outer circle tells you whether or not you followed the rule today, are within your weekly quota, or are outside the limits of what you allowed yourself for your rules. |
Extreme, Moderate, & KaizenUse this chart to figure out if you happen to be better following your Extreme, Moderate, or Kaizen rules. Note that some rules can belong to more than one category. Kaizen rules are rules that just happen to have low difficulty ratings by you, regardless of whether they are extreme rules or moderation rules. |
