Her public review of the day was…
I’m taking my vitamins, watching my diet, drinking lots of water, getting some exercise… And I have such low energy! I can hardly stay awake past 8:30pm. Tips for increasing your energy? affiknitty is fruit-hungry.
I lost 1 life point because of the following things…
I started to do a yoga program and then one thing after another happened with the kids. I tried to squeeze in a little exercise in the morning, but I didn’t get anywhere near 30 minutes. :(
An anonymous player sent 2 pieces of fruit.

It happens! Funny how we can muster our energy to take care of others and seem to run out of time and effort for ourselves, right? I try to wake up first and do some ME TIME before everyone else gets going, but sometimes it’s tough.

Hi everyone! I’m Laura, affiknitty on Twitter and Ravelry. Thanks, M-H, for posting on Twitter about this, because I’ve been reflecting about making some lifestyle changes and this will really help. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s rules and progress. Go, team! :)

Did you just start increasing your exercise? Although exercise does give you more energy, there is a transitional period in which you will feel more tired…Are you getting enough sleep in hours, and is it uninterrupted sleep? Waking up mid-sleep cycle makes you initially groggy. Interrupted sleep keeps you from reaching the deep restorative sleep. Try aromatherapy…some peppermint oil will perk you up, orange and grapefruit smells will energize you (you can warm them to distribute fragrance or mix with alcohol and spray. Finally, ginger tea gives me energy – I use very fresh ginger and quite a lot of it. Just some ideas!
If this is all new for you, your body will prolly need an adjustment period before the benefits kick in. Hang in there!
Thanks! I am going to try the aromatherapy idea. About halfway through the morning, I got another clue … That “I’m about to get sick” feeling. Bleh!
