Still recovering from getting my appendix out & stressed about all the stuff that’s been left undone around the house for the last week. BUT, I’m feeling better & the sun is out so how bad could things be?

Definitely feeling like I’m on the mend & I’m ready to start reclaiming my life. I have to be careful not to push too hard. I have to admit, I’m kind of proud of myself for following my ’don’t eat fast food’ rule…usually when I don’t feel well I head straight for the double cheeseburgers.
beckasa is fruit-hungry.
I hate to ask in the last few days of the month, but I think I’m going to need a little help to make it with any points left. I won’t be able to follow my exercise rule at all the rest of the week because I got my appendix out last night.

Not exactly the best day & my life points suffered because of it. Although an emergency appendectomy can take the wind out of anyone’s sails I suppose. beckasa checked in with the Crane.
It’s been a good and relaxing couple of days.

I took today off & did some clothes shopping, although every time I got out of my car I just got angry at the weather. Really, sleet? It is spring now. Free Rita’s day said so.

This was a generally rough week. And this soda rule (or, I should say, my weakness in relation to it) is kicking my butt. A little fruit help would be much-appreciated.

Yes, that’s the rule that it’s just too hard for me even to try to keep. I think you’re mighty indeed.
Would flavored seltzer count as soda? That might scratch the fizzy drink itch for you…
yes, or can you mix crystal light in with fizzy water?
I wish it was the fizzy that was the issue…I LOVE coca-cola & diet coke. There really aren’t any substitutes. That’s okay though. I think it would be harder if I tried drinking “non-soda” sodas.
I actually mostly eliminated coke a while ago because I’ve stopped eating/drinking anything with HFCS and I’m also trying to eliminate artificial sweeteners, but diet coke was hard. It’s getting easier though.
