I’ve added a new page. If you go to your profile page (or someone else’s), there’s now an ugly link below your rules to “learn about this game”. It will show you a grade for each of the rules that a person took on, and will also give recommendations for ways to change the rules to be more successful next month.
There’s still more I’d like to do, but I’m actually quite happy with how this is turning out so far. Please check it out for yourself and let me know if the information resonates with you at all. And also what other kinds of information might be useful to show here.
Thanks!

I added and edited a bunch of rules for next month. I also made sure that everyone can play an extra month for free if they want to continue beta testing the site. Click on “Next Month” and “Choose Rules”… and let me know what you think!

I’m definitely not going to try to limit myself to 6 alcoholic drinks next month… it’s a slow life drain at the end of every week, especially during summer where apparently we always have a reason to celebrate something. I have 13 fruit to give away, and will gladly heal anyone that is willing to bring me back to life a little.

I really, really like this idea! I don’t quite “get” the grading – I have a C for my “no fried food” rule, which (unless I hit the wrong button when playing my turn sometime) I’ve only broken twice in the month. Which I actually think is really awesome – playing this rule has forced me to make a lot of different, more positive food choices while eating out. Maybe this just means there’s a difference between the statistics and my perception of my performance. Maybe you should include an option for us to give ourselves letter grades on our performance, too? Just for ongoing reference if nothing else?
(No surprises that I’m getting an F on my alcohol rule, though.)
Also: I LOVE the weight and energy graphs, though now it makes me wish I’d been checking in on these more often so I could see more than just data points in my lines. Honestly, I’d love it if weight and energy tracking was broken apart so that I could record my energy level every day but my weight just once a week. I don’t think it’s meaningful to weigh in every day since the numbers don’t change significantly in such a short period of time, but energy levels can fluctuate a lot from day to day, or even over the course of a day.
I like this a bunch! It remotivates me to check in on my energy (weighing myself would lead to disaster), and for me, it encourages me to actually challenge myself with things I’m not certain I can do. This month was mostly gimmes. Next month I’m already a little threatened by. I added another rule (yesterday?) and threw myself into the Green bracket; I might need to revisit these…
Like Jessica, I’m interested that missing one day on my vitamin rule took me down to a C, though — that seems pretty harsh!
There might be some grading errors. I’ll look into it!
