Visit to the in-laws almost over and I’m looking forward to eating my own food again when we get back home. Enjoying playing the Health Month game. It’s a great daily reminder for what I said I wanted for myself healthwise. Still re-negotiating my relationship with All or Nothing…. I’m gonna need fruit soon.

At the in-laws this week. We ate at the lodge last night where special food requests were really not possible. And sometimes when other people make food for me, they forget about my special requests. This is me making the best of less than ideal food choices. And interacting with All or Nothing who thinks that once someone cooks my breakfast egg in butter, the day is “blown” and it doesn’t matter what else I eat. Practicing getting over it and moving on. Even though I always have complete control over what I eat or don’t eat, noticing where the difficulty is and how often it comes up is turning out to be super useful.

9 hour drive in the car today with hubby and his junk food. Noticing my All or Nothing pattern here again. This is me practicing interrupting the All or Nothing pattern by continuing to re-commit to what I said I wanted for myself and my life.

I don’t understand the scoring algorithm here at all. Not that it matters, but algorithms interest me.
Yesterday = good.
Also avoided the scale another day. 4/4 or maybe it’s 5/5….
