Same here. I am glad we start with 10 points. Funny, the first month I played, I didn’t even realize that my goal was to keep all my 10 points to the end of the month. Now I just want to end with more than zero. How my standards have slipped… ;-)

Hey Deb! Chris and I are getting pretty good upper and lower body workouts (For n00bs.), but we aren’t doing anything with that middle part there. I know you aren’t a fan of sit-ups and crunches, and neither am I. So what is your favorite core-strengthening exercise?

I like planks. And side planks. And rotating side planks. (I do also like all other abs exercises – yes I’m a freak, but I used to hate them. Now that I do abs exercises with every workout, in order to prevent lower back pain, I am starting to enjoy them.)

Planks, bird dogs (on hands and knees, lift right arm/left leg parallel to ground, hold for 5 seconds, then switch), bridges (on back, lift hips so a straight line from knee to shoulder), side planks.
